Industrial processes
The focus lies on the efficient use of waste heat produced by industrial processes. In the medium and long term this will need to be extended to include new, energy-efficient production processes using non-fossil, renewable energy sources. The transport of raw materials, semi-finished products and finished products also holds great potential. NRP 70 will identify practical solutions for waste-heat usage and new production processes for specific industry sectors (e.g. chemical and building materials industry).
