Transport and mobility

Light vehicles, efficient drive units and the replacement of fossil fuels with electricity, hydrogen, methane or bio-fuels are important steps, but they will not be sufficient to ensure sustainable mobility. Integral solutions that are both systemic and behavioural will be needed to transform our mobility behaviour. This may include urban and regional planning measures, more flexible working conditions (location and time), limiting leisure traffic, shared mobility or mobility pricing.
